In support of World Tiger Day we are happy to announce that our fourth humane education children's book will be launching soon. Roxi the Rescue Dog Helps the Tigers- an animal compassion story that raises awareness of animals used for entertainment, specifically, tigers exploited for tiger selfies, tiger feedings, and tiger tricks.
Sadly, tigers are repeatedly bred for their cubs, who are then taken away from their mother in their first few weeks of life and used as props for tourists. What seems like a harmless photo is a lifetime of misery and torture for tigers forced to pose for pictures. Shockingly, there are more tigers in captivity than there are left in the wild.
During Covid 19 the tigers continue to be victimized due to lack of funding for food, ongoing deplorable living conditions, and limited health care. Through education and awareness of animal welfare issues like these, we hope we can reduce animal cruelty around the world.
